I was hoping it would be 2nd commando regiment or the SRG but I always knew it was going to be the SASR. I kept following the community because its great and I enjoy the memes and the gifs and then finally the Aussies got their CTU. With the game getting silly and my homeland being ignored I decided to quit. Also around this time Ubi declared they would release Moroccan operators and thus the game would have a "CTU from every continent." My native Australia is a continent. In year 3 with Lion and Finka I finally decided to quit as the game now had nanobots and drones that can see through walls. After that every new DLC that came out became more and more bizarre. Then came the SEALS with their desert eagles but their gadgets were somewhat mundane so I was ok with it.

Other elements like the destructible environments were amazing and multiplayer was addictive. It was great in the beginning with Thatcher's EMPs being the only truly unrealistic gadget in the game. Well this is why i quit the game in the end. That does not instantly make it a bad thing.ĮDIT: If you're going to downvote, can you explain why in the comments? I'm genuinely interested in other opinions on the subject. TL DR Siege is changing, and it has been all it's life. But is that a bad thing? I get it, you wanna stay true to the original books, but can't a game change during it's lifespan, for the better? My point is, R6S is not what it used to be. So what if Siege is changing it's levels of realism to something more wAcKy ZaNy, why's that such a bad thing? Can't we be open to change? I for one, love what's happening, which I know is a controversial opinion. Siege is moving away from the gritty hyper-realistic approach, possibly because of the recent successes of Overwatch, Fortnite and whatnot.

I just don't get why people aren't open to any change. Alibi's magic holograms and Lion's win button are not technology that we currently have, but they're in the game anyway. Probably earlier, but I haven't been around that long. People have been complaining about this since Red Crow. No, my issue with all this uproar is that when you take a step back and look at siege as a whole, it's just not a realistic game anymore.Īnd yeah, I know. I honestly understand the annoyance with the fact that she's literally obese, but that's not what gets my knickers in a twist. If you think this is going to be another 'not fat operators please' post, you'd be wrong.
