Wolfgang is great when it comes to combat which gives both of them meat. With Wickerbottom’s books she gives unlimited food supply via berries and crops. The armor and traps Wormwood crafts make soul harvesting easy for Wortox.Wortox can heal Wormwood while he gives the healing food to Wortox.Wormwood can cut off his arm and give living logs with minor health loss while Worttox heals him.Since living logs are so hard to come by and are useful Wormwood gives them freely, well with a bit of health loss. Since Wormwood does not gain health from any of the food he can gain fast health from Wortox dropping a soul. Wigfrid’s ability to craft an OP spear and helmet keep them both safe.Wortox gains souls from all the mobs (not including shadows and clockworks) that he and Wigfrid slay.These two again seem like a great duo to have. Wortox as his biggest perk in any duo can heal all while Wigfrid can craft her helmet and battle spear to share with others. These two watch each other's backs all while slaying the constant.
Wickerbottom has a science boost so she can make an umbrella for WX-78 to keep him dry when it rains.Wickerbottom hates stale food and WX-78 will eat anything so swap the fresh stuff with her.Wickerbottom has The End is Nigh book which turbocharges WX-78.While playing them make sure that you find the gears you need so that he can be Wicker’s bodyguard and possible light source. Wickerbottom is a picky eater and WX-78 isn’t so all the stale food can be fed to him. These two are like pb&j, with Wicker’s books and WX being a robot who gets supercharged by lightning. Wes is great for scavenging while Wortox takes out the mobs.

I know that Wes isn’t the most favorable character to play but if you have someone who loves him then this duo is for you. You can exchange the foods that one another won’t eat.Wurt can trade with the Merm king and receive specific crop seeds which works out for Wormwood.Wurt takes advantage of the healing properties of the fruits and veggies Wormwood grows.The meat won't go to waste since wormwood can eat those This duo works well because with all the healing foods that Wormwood makes Wurt can scarf them up while reaping the benefits. Wurt can’t eat meat and Wormwood can plant seeds straight into the ground without having to till or use the garden rigamajig or any other tool. I’m going to tell you the best duos I have found while playing with a partner. The characters are great and all when you are playing solo, however, when playing in a group or as a duo they are loads better.
